Mirror is a criminal organization that serves as the villainous team and main antagonists of Detective Pokemon Dungeons and Dragons. Their main goal is to cause mass chaos in Patropolis by using Pokemon to commit crimes. A series of people that work for Mirror appear in the cases.
Mirror's main objective to achieve their goal is through the use of a drug known as Fear, a substance that makes Pokemon see their worst fears in front of them and attack wildly trying to defend itself. The main ingredient of Fear is the nightmare dream energy created by Darkrai. Though they managed to steal a handful of nightmare energy from Darkrai, the Pitch-Black Pokemon managed to escape before its power was completely gone. Mirror now, not only continues their Fear plan, but is also on the hunt for Darkrai to create more of their drug.
Tony Ravoska - Tony is the corrupt owner of Zombie Land Amusements who uses the park as a front to hide Mirror activities. Tony's main partner is his Shedinja which he uses to spy on people and get information about everything in the park. Shedinja's known moves are Phantom Force and Giga Drain and its Ability is Wonder Guard.
Sylvia Pratt - Sylvia is a millionaire who works on Gyarados Island. She tries to get the area shut down so she can get the land for her new resort, which was also planned to be used to allow Mirror to act without suspicion. Sylvia's partner is Drowzee, which she uses to hypnotize people and make them forget the presence of any Mirror activities or just to get what she wants. Drowzee's known moves are Teleport, Hypnosis and Flash.
Gordon Jackson - Gordon is the Chief of Thunderbolt Monorails, the secret boss of Mirror and the main antagonist of the campaign, though at first he appears to be very against Mirror and is kind to the group, he doesn't reveal his true intentions until half way through the campaign. Gordon's main partner is his Salamence, he mostly uses Salamence for transportation around the city rather than for battle. Salamence's only known move is Flamethrower and its Ability is Intimidate.
Patrick Osborne - As a worker at Thunderbolt Monorails, Patrick would transport unmarked packages between Mirror bases, not knowing what was in them or why they needed to be delivered. Patrick couldn't think too much about it though since his boss, Gordon, insisted that these packages needed to be urgently delivered.
Fear is a drug that was developed by Mirror to make Pokemon see their worst fears in front of them. Out of fear, the affected Pokemon would start attacking in order to defend itself. The signs of a Pokemon affected by Fear are the following:
The Pokemon's eyes would turn completely black.
The Pokemon would not recognize anyone from its past. It would even attack its best friend should they cross its path.
The Pokemon would be exhausted after the effects wear off.
Initially, Fear was known as Dream and it was meant to be a sleep-inducing medicine that could heal a person or a Pokemon of their nightmares by using dream energy generated by Cresselia. However the developers got some of Darkrai's dream energy instead, and Gordon, thrilled with the results the new Fear produced, decided to capture Darkrai to develop more of their new drug and unleash it on the world before the Pitch-Black Pokemon escaped.
As the Chief of Thunderbolt Monorails, Gordon has allowed Mirror access to the monorail systems in order to transport their resources around Patropolis without arousing suspicion.
