My dark-eyed lover looks at me and says
“My dear girl.
I will kill you.
And then I will eat you.
"And if I should eat you for breakfast
then I should cover you with butter
and you should taste very sweet.
"And if I should eat you for supper
then I should fry you in many spices
so that you should be too tasty.”
I wonder how he should have me for lunch?
“Stupid girl.
I should chop you into very fine pieces and feed you to the dogs.
And they should enjoy you too much.”
So I sock him in the stomach and go back to bed.
