Anchors

In the Anchor Boys we play games, do craft, listen to stories and have lots more fun!

On this page you can see some of the work we've done and the things we've learned this year....

Rockets!!!

Finally, the video of the rockets that the Anchors have made is ready. The boys designed their own space rockets from 2 litre juice bottles, and then tested them out in the hall. The Captain had to be careful not to get hit!

Noah's Ark!

This is a picture from our notice board of the Noah's Ark we made in Anchor Boys. We had a fun evening learning about all the different types of animals and how God rescued Noah, his family and 2 of every kind of animal from the flood. The boys chose to have hyenas, foxes and crocodiles in their picture. You can see the full-size image by clicking on it: the text says "Thank-you God for sending your rainbow as a promise that you will always look after us".

Pancake Promises

Before Pancake Tuesday the Anchor Boys coloured in their pancake promises. The have decided to try and give up a bad habit and to take up a new helpful thing to do for Lent. The poster is currently on our noticeboard in the small hall (click for the full-size image).

Dynamic Earth

On Sunday the 13th March the Anchor Boys and Junior Section went to Dynamic Earth for the afternoon. This Friday we wrote letters to say "Thank-you". The pictures are the boys' favourite things about Dynamic Earth; these included learning about volcanoes, the indoor rainforest, and the giant ice sculpture!
