It is with much regret that we post this message from Andrew Gray that his mother, Mrs Nancy Gray died on Thursday on 21 Nov 2013 after a short stay in hospital.
Nancy was the widow of Colin Gray, a widely and highly respected, long serving SNCO Wood Machinist ex 2SQN Vietnam Veteran.
Many members will recall that Colin, when working at ARDU in Laverton, manufactured the current No 2 SQN (RAAF) Assoc Banner about 1973.
Since Colin died, Nancy and Andrew have maintained the care and custody of our Banner in safe hands willingly bringing it to the various Parades for us to march behind.
Please check the Melbourne papers to get funeral details if you wish to attend. I anticipate that the funeral may be held in South Melbourne, but may be wrong in this matter.
