Drive from LaPont to Pontresina (10 minutes from our B&B)
- Took Alp Languard lift to 7.465'
- About 2 hours (4 miles) to ascend to 10,434' (GeorgyHutte). Let's felt great. Totally adjusted to this altitude.
- Dropped packs and summited (scrambled up to) Piz Languard (10,765).
- 360 degree view down into Italy (Dolomites) and around our entire region. Got lay of land for upcoming treks.
- Descended via Lej (lake) Languard & Chna. Paradis back to top of Alp Languard lift.

Full home cooked meal by the Margarit & Wernet (all traditional Swiss dishes).
- Sat at table with three Christian Jewish ladies (currently living in Switzerland), but spent much of their lives (post WWII) in Israel. 2 hours of listening to their life stories, beliefs, etc. A very special experience.
