Makeshift mouse trap

Abstract

I had a mouse in my room. I felt uncomfortable to share the room with it. Maybe it bit me and gives me deadly rabies when asleep.

If you don't have the vaccination, I don't have it, you need the treatment or it is a one way ticket to the land of the dead when the symptoms occur. Then no treatment is available.

Getting bitten while asleep without noticing is therefore a dangerous situation.

Or maybe the mouse had just found a new partner and was in the process of setting up a home and might gnaw material off my clothes (e.g. my only pair of trousers) leaving holes in the process.

As my hotel had not put one of those newly discovered Giant Rat-Eating Plants in my room I had to do something myself.

I made a mouse trap in two minutes from stuff in the room. Shortly afterward he was caught.

I really like these challenges. You have problem, you have a limited amount of material to solve it with.

You come up with a solution. If it works it is very satisfying.
