Marriage Preparation & Wedding Ceremony Planning

Your wedding ceremony and reception last but a brief time, like the strike of a match. You want the flame of that match to light a bonfire that will continue burning brightly to light your way all through your entire married life. Your wedding day should keep your lives kindled with eternal embers as a glowing reminder giving meaning and beauty to your whole life together.

The balance of preparing for both your wedding day as well as for married life is an important approach to keep. That is why I offer couples not only resources for composing their wedding ceremony but also resources for deepening their dialogue and their relationship. One such resource can be reviewed can be reviewed by clicking here.

While my religious affiliation is Catholic, I adapt to the needs of couples of all backgrounds: non-denominational, interdenominational—Christian, Jewish, Muslim—intercultural. I am also Spanish/English bi-lingual.

I welcome couples in a non-judgmental context—same-sex or straight marriages, first marriages and marriages after divorce.

This ministry, like that of Jesus, responds to the needs of people of various backgrounds, especially those persons who, like those he met in his time, would have been considered "outsiders" ~ especially by the religious leaders of his time. There is great evidence that Jesus always responded with "yes" to those seeking him out.

I have always offered services to anyone requesting them. I have assisted thousands of couples—while serving in a Catholic diocese as well as after leaving that diocese—in preparation for marriage. As you see by the Letters of Gratitude from Couples, those with whom I've been privileged to celebrate weddings speak highly of ceremonies I helped them prepare and which I witnessed as presider/officiant. With the resources I offer, couples can clarify not only what kind of wedding they want, but also determine what kind of marriage they want to create.
