Hi Jack,
We just wanted to say thank you again for officiating our wedding. It was absolutely perfect. You were not like the other officiants we spoke to. You were different in the way you made us feel. Allie and Patrick celebrated their wedding at Glastonbury Hills Country Club on May 21, 2022.
Derick and John's outdoor wedding was accompanied by a beautiful early autumn day at Stonehurst at Hampton Valley, Connecticut as the picture below attest. And their appreciation is so heartfelt.
Originally planned for April 25, 2020, the wedding date for Olivia and Kevin moved to September 4 after a number of hair-raising challenges. I was so glad to be able to accommodate them, calming some of their concerns.
Jill and Mike celebrated their wedding in a beautiful outdoor setting at Wickham Park, Manchester, on September 18, 2020. Jillian is pictured entering the venue, accompanied by her father, Dennis.

At Water's Edge, Westbrook, Peter and Chelsey celebrated their beautiful wedding...which was exactly as they pictured it would be.
Kerry and Joe were married on October 30, 2016 at Anthony's Ocean View, New Haven. After their wedding they wrote:

Annmarie and Brian celebrated their commitment in love in a beautiful ceremony at the Vanderbilt Museum, on Long Island in Centerport NY. Their son James (pictured with them above) served as one of the ringbearers.

Hi Father Jack, Andrea and I, as well as our guests, were all very impressed with your, for the lack of a better word, awesomeness. You injected just the right amount of everything...assurance, timeliness, management, attention, joyfulness, and gracefulness. You were also funny! We felt blessed to have you officiate our wedding. We thank you for the beautiful ceremony you did. We still have guests telling us how much they enjoyed you and that we did a very good choice for the officiant. You set up the ground for the fun wedding that we wanted, and we really appreciate that. Also, we were so impressed with your gift and the CD you made so fast for us! How do we even begin to express our gratitude towards Reverend Jack Wentland? From the very beginning, Jack made sure that he truly understood our relationship, how we met, and how we saw our future together. By those simple measures, he created a warm and inviting process of planning our unique ceremony. We knew from the moment we met him he was going to do a great job. After months of planning, and his patience with us revising our ceremony many times, the day finally arrived. Father Jack is wonderful and is a resigned Catholic priest with CITI Ministries (Community Is The Intent). He is an ordained Catholic Priest who made a decision in good conscience to leave the diocese where he had served over 20 years, ultimately moving to Connecticut and enjoying his relationship with his "love" as he calls her! My husband is Catholic and I am UU. Father Jack is the perfect person to officiate if you have differences in religious backgrounds. Father Jack met with us for 3 hours in our initial meeting just to get to know us better. He had some difficulty remembering names of our bridal party (particularly last names)! But, in all, he was a gem. If you want a ceremony that has heart and want to create your own ceremony with some good structured guidance, then Father Jack is wonderful!
