From it's base camp in Cam Ranh Bay, the 172nd Transportation Co. participated in convoys to supply military units near towns and villages including Ban Me Thuot, Bao Loc, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa, Phan Rang and Phan Thiet.
