Learning shouldn't stop when summer begins! Join our class to discover new problem solving strategies. Topics to be investigated include: analyzing information, using diagrams to solve problems, and solving puzzles using the strategies of estimating, deductive reasoning and identifying attributes.
Each lesson begins with a math game designed to promote problem solving and support computation. Students are then introduced to a skill and given time to practice the skill. Many students favorite part of the class, logic puzzles follows the lesson. And the class ends with problem solving. All lessons are directly related to the Common Core State Standards in Math and are designed to challenge the students while providing connections between mathematical skills.
Cost: $120 payment may be submitted in cash or check on the day of the student's first class
