Writing Standards

The new State Writing Standards were introduced in 2013 to Alaska's school districts and SISD subsequently reformatted these standards to a more user friendly format without taking away from the intent of each standard.The curriculum and curricular resources are being reviewed in 2014-15 by the ELA committee to see how well they align to the new Writing Standards.If you have any questions...contact Mr. Nick Higson at (907) 254-8254 or at nhigson@sisd.org
