Walk up support is provided by Simmons Technology. A list of available services and equipment for loan is provided.
The Service Desk provides remote support via phone and email. Our extended phone support hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Support analysts can assist with a wide variety of tasks over the phone. Analysts can use a remote support tool, with your permission, to see your device remotely and troubleshoot problems that are hard to describe or resolve.
The Technology Support Center can assist you in person by appointment only. The appointments are scheduled in advance and intended to assist with issues such as a computer repair, replacement, or other issues that cannot be done remotely.

Zoom
Zoom is a video conferencing platform that allows you to set up virtual video and audio conferencing, screen-sharing, and other collaborative capabilities.
Google Workspace
Since Simmons is a Google school, your Simmons email address gives you access to an extensive range of Google tools that you can share with individual people, all of the Simmons community, or anyone on the internet. We highly encourage you to familiarize yourself with the Google Workspace tools and experiment with different ways to offer content to your students. LinkedIn
Simmons Technology has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide our faculty, staff and students 24/7 access to online software training. Gradescope
Gradescope helps you seamlessly administer and grade all of your assessments, whether online or in-class. Save time grading and get a clear picture of how your students are doing. Gradescope supports variable-length assignments (problem sets & projects) as well as fixed-template assignments (worksheets, quizzes, bubble sheets, and exams).
