This studio is home to our French Tool etching press, collage library, sculpture tools, work tables and countertops where students learning printmaking, mixed media art making and other studio specialties. Students can spread out and create. A computer, projector and screen allow for students to work on digital files and professors to share slideshows, videos and more.
Our painting and drawing studio hosts an array of easels and work benches, painting and supply storage, space for still-life setups and a platform for figure drawing models. Homasote panels on the walls allow for students to hang works in progress. A computer, projector and screen allow for students and faculty to access and share slideshows, videos and more.
The screen printing studio has ten print stations, a Richmond Graphics exposure unit, a dark room for screen coating and drying, a washout booth with pressure washer and two drying racks for prints.
This room has Homasote panel walls where students can hang work for review. This intimate space facilitates conversation and is perfect for group critiques. A computer, podium, projector, and screen make this a perfect room for student, faculty and artist presentations.
