Media Classrooms, Labs, & Studios

The Department of Communications has a number of discipline specific labs and classrooms. The study of Communications relies heavily on technology. Check here for a list of classroom resources available as a Communications student at Simmons. 

Students taking courses in Art have access to Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and Printmaking Studios. Check here to learn more about our Art courses as well as our creative spaces.

Students enrolled in Photography courses in The Ifill School have access to a Digital Photo Lab, a Darkroom, and a Digital Photo Editing suite. Check here to learn more about resources for Photo Students.

The CommLab is a work space dedicated to all Ifill Students enrolled in courses that have a media component and all Communications students. Access is available from 7AM-11PM daily and is staffed with trained student workers between the hours of 9AM-9PM Sunday-Friday.
