Federal Student Aid plays a central and essential role in supporting postsecondary education by providing money for college to eligible students and families. The FAFSA is the application for federal student assistance. You can apply starting October 1 prior to the academic year you plan on attending. To access the FAFSA form, click on the icon below.
The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State. Before you begin your TAP application, you must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). New York State (NYS) residents attending NYS schools will have the option to link directly to the TAP application from the FAFSA submission confirmation page.
