Proudly, I am an alumni of the South Huntington School District. I feel a very strong connection to my students and to this wonderful community. It gives me such happiness that I have the ability to give back to my students what I so preciously gained in my experiences as a student in this exceptional district.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be an Art Teacher because of my love for children and of the arts. Each child is unique in their own way and needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere so that they can grow not only artistically, but emotionally, intellectually, and socially. It is my mission as an educator to help my students meet their potential to the fullest by developing skills to improve their capabilities in the arts, while in the process building self-confidence. I feel very fortunate to able to not only foster these skills, but to also inspire young minds.

In my spare time, I love to hike, kayak, go camping, travel and paint. I really enjoy spending as much time outdoors as I can. My dog Tikki goes everywhere with us, check out some pictures of her!
