Pit Cover - Aluminum (Dock Board) 

The pit covers come in 4'L or 3'L sections, depending on owner preference.  With the 4'L sections, there are few sections to move, however, the 3'L sections are a bit lighter.  Most customers have been opting for the 3'L sections.

In this photo you see the underside construction of the pit covers.  They are fabricated from very-strongly designed aluminum dock-board and welded together.  We install pads on the bottom to ensure that the pit covers easily slide on the pit rails, preventing scratching it and therefore protecting the powder coated finish.

QuickPit Aluminum Cover

This animated video-loop was filmed while walking on top of the pit cover.  Pay attention to the minimal height gap between the top of the pit cover and the top of the rail.  It's about a 1" differential.  If one trips into the pit, catching a foot on the rail, the height of the pit cover, being about 2" reduces the likelihood of tripping, keeping the person out of the pit.  Your insurance company will love this design - especially compared with a net system.
