Hello readers! I am your Reading Teacher, Mrs. Durkee. I am excited for the school year to get started and I can't wait to watch your reading skills grow.

I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am married to my highschool sweetheart, Aaron, and we have three beautiful children. Henry is 10 and is in fourth grade, Ben is 8 and is in second grade, and Molly is four and excited to be starting pre-school. We also have a hundred pound Boxer-mastiff mix named Penny. We live in O'Fallon and we enjoy spending time together, riding bikes, taking walks, cooking, gardening, traveling, swimming, and playing games.

I have worked at Shiloh for the past fourteen years and have been the Reading Teacher for the last seven years. Before becoming the Reading Teacher, I was a third grade teacher. I love working at Shiloh Elementary School. Our school has some of the best students and teachers in the area!
