Our infant classroom at SHACC is thoughtfully designed to create a soothing, peaceful environment where babies can thrive. We understand that infants are especially sensitive to their surroundings, so we have carefully arranged our space with soft lighting, gentle colors, and cozy, inviting areas to help babies feel safe and secure. By providing a calm and predictable environment, we aim to reduce sensory overload and create a space where babies can explore and grow at their own pace.
In our infant classroom, we recognize that each baby is unique, and we partner closely with families to ensure that every child’s individual schedule and needs are met. Whether it’s napping, feeding, or playtime, we respect and follow the routines established at home to provide continuity and comfort for your child. We believe that fed is best, and we are committed to feeding babies on demand, ensuring that their nutritional needs are met whenever they are hungry. We accommodate both breastfed and bottle-fed babies, and our caregivers are trained to handle expressed milk, formula, or any special feeding instructions you may have.
Beyond meeting basic needs, our teachers provide plenty of love, attention, and nurturing interactions throughout the day. We spend ample time rocking, cuddling, and soothing each child to create a sense of trust and security. Through activities like gentle talking, singing, and engaging in age-appropriate play, we help to stimulate your child’s developing senses and support their early communication skills. Our goal is to create a warm and loving environment where babies feel cherished and supported, laying the foundation for their future growth and development.
