Community Education
Our Community Education Program provides recreation, enrichment, vocational, and educational courses for people of all ages. We succeed when the community takes advantage of the services provided. We urge you to take part in our programs by: suggesting ideas for our programs; sharing your skills or hobbies by instructing a program or by enrolling in one or more of our programs. We offer a wide variety of classes for the community from aquatics to arts & crafts to investing.

REFUND POLICY:
Full refunds will be given if the course is canceled by Community Education.
If the student cancels their registration prior to the start of the first class, a refund, less a $15 cancellation fee, will be given.
NO REFUNDS will be given for registration cancellations after the course begins or for one-night courses.
Courses cannot be offered on a "trial basis."
Registrations are binding because instructor compensation and other financial commitments are based on the number of registrants on the start date for each course.
Therefore, under no circumstance, can a refund be issued after a course has begun.
All allowable refunds will be issued by check and mailed to recipient.
REGISTRATION POLICIES:
Any person 16 years and older is eligible to attend, unless otherwise noted.
We cannot accept "partial" amounts for course fees. Course fees cannot be prorated if an individual attempts to register after a course has already begun.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mailed-in registrations can be accepted as soon as the brochure is available on the Community Education page of the Shenendehowa website at www.shenet.org
For mailed-in registrations, please make out a separate check for each course and note the name of the course on the check.
Out of district residents pay an additional dollar amount per course for most courses where indicated, except for one-night courses.
Book and supply fees are not included with the registration fees unless otherwise noted.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER / HOLIDAYS / SCHOOL RECESS:
If school is closed for the day, all evening activities including Community Education courses, MAY NOT BE HELD.
If schools close early (eg. due to weather conditions) Community Education classes MAY NOT BE HELD.
Information regarding school closings will be first posted on the Shenendehowa website at www.shenet.org and TV announcements to follow.
