Once you’ve received an unconditional offer to study, You’ll receive an email from us notifying you to complete the registration tasks below (email subject: ‘Complete pre-registration tasks now’).

Your student record is held electronically by central University administration and it can be accessed by logging into here https:/www.sheffield.ac.uk/ssid/record.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details are correct at all times. We cannot do this for you. This is your record and only you have access to it.
All students are provided with a University of Sheffield computer account and a University email address. If you haven't already done so you need to activate your computer account as soon as possible. You should have been provided with instructions on how to do this via the pre-registration email in August/early September from central Registration.
After the Induction Day we will move to the sole use of your student @sheffield.ac.uk email. If you already have a previous student or staff email account, please ensure you are using the new one given to you via IT Services.
