Module choices for ELLT01 MA Applied Linguistics


This information is to help you make your optional choices for this programme. Students on MA Applied Linguistics will take 180 credits in total.


The following modules are CORE modules which means a student has to take these and they should automatically be added to your student record so you don’t need to choose these when completing your registration.


EGH410 Research Methods, Autumn Semester, 15 credits

EGH61010 Current Issues in Applied Linguistics, Autumn Semester, 15 credits

EGH411 Research Dissertation Practice, Spring Semester, 15 credits

EGH459 Dissertation, Spring Semester, 60 credits


You should then choose your optional modules using the Programme Regulations and the module descriptions on the University web pages. Students should choose a further 30 credits for Autumn and 45 credits for Spring.


There will be an opportunity to change your optional module choices during the add/drop period once you have started your studies with us.
