Modern Language Teaching Centre - learn a language
The MLTC offers Languages for All (LfA) courses from beginners to more advanced levels in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Latin, Portuguese/Brazilian and Spanish, and these are open to all, including postgraduate students, either for credits or for a fee.
Teaching is delivered online this Autumn semester and starts early October. Even if you are not yet fully registered with the University, you can apply now at https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/mltc/courses/apply-now and will be able to attend the first lessons before your academic year officially commences. This is particularly important if you wish to start a language at complete beginner level.
For more information on the language modules available, please see https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/mltc/lfa/options.
