We will update this page as needed during the MFA implementation process
If you are using an iPhone, you MUST install the iOS Gmail app on your device in order to complete the MFA registration process. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gmail-email-by-google/id422689480
If Google cannot find your mobile device during the set up process, start the MFA process from the mobile device itself:
Open Gmail settings on your mobile device
Tap "Manage your Google account" (this will open in a new browser window)
On the security tab, tap "2-Step Verification" and follow the prompts
You will then be able to use that device as your second authentication factor the next time you log in to Gmail from your work computer.
You can access your Google account (Gmail, Drive, etc.) from any common use computer on campus (computer lab, instructor computer, common area in Burke or Student Center), but you will need to enter your MFA credentials each time you log in.
Common area computers are reset at regular intervals and will not remember your previous login.
