UNO Cards Addition War
Multiple VersionsEach player flips a card, and the one whose card is greatest takes them both. Continue until the deck is gone. The player with the most cards wins.
Each flips two cards. They then use counting blocks, beans, etc to represent the numbers, and count on or add to find the sum. The largest sum wins the hand, and play continues.

Try this with division. Pick four cards and create an equation that work without a decimals. Example you picked 4,2,7,8. Make the equation 8/2=4
Stacking Cups
Ordinal Number -Kids will love this activity because they get a kick out of stacking cups. See if they can get to 100. Make sure they say the number out loud as they stack them. If you want to make this a PE activity spread the cups around the house or yard. Have them fetch the cups one at a time. Make sure you time them. Kids also love to bet their time.
Skip Counting- Get your child ready for multiplication. By skip counting have your child stack the cup. For example 2,4,6,8....and so on until you have all the multiplies of 2.Continue to skip count with more difficult numbers.
