BPS SUMMER ENRICHMENT BUS TRANSPORTATION

Select schools that are hosting Summer Enrichment camps will be providing proximity transportation to and from the site.  Please visit the BPS Transportation Site to see the schools that will be providing busing and where each bus stop will be located.  Any child that arrives at a bus stop in time will be allowed on the bus and be brought to the appropriate school for camps.  All bus schedules will be updated prior to the start of each week.  Check each week as stops can and will change and/or be removed from week to week.

To register your child for a bus pass to ride the bus to a school for Summer Enrichment, please fill out the Summer School Transportation Request. If this is not yet available, please check back for when it opens.  If your child is going to visit multiple schools over the summer for different camps, please fill out a form for each school they will be attending.

Students will use their BPS district ID to scan on and off the bus. If your child does not have a badge, they will need to know their student ID number to type in. All BPS students have a FOCUS account, and you can get the barcode off the app either from the student or parent logging in. Printing out the barcode can help the student getting on and off the bus. You can make your child their own badge as long as it has a barcode with their student ID. Information for the tablets on the bus and how parents can find the barcode is here: https://www.brevardschools.org/o/bps/page/reaxium-parent-information

Parents should print out the Bus Pass and fill in their details to give to the driver. 1 copy should be given to the morning/pick up driver and 1 copy should be given to the afternoon/drop off driver. This should be repeated for each camp they attend.

Any Kindergartener using the bus must have a parent/designee present at the bus stop to meet the student. Failure of the parent/designee to meet the student at the bus stop will result in the student being taken back to school and may result in a loss of school bus riding privileges. Parent/Designee should be prepared to provide proof of identification to pick up the student. The student will not be released to parent/designee without proper identification. The student should have a tag with all the allowable parent/designees listed on it that they were on the bus.

Transportation arrangements will not be changed over the phone.  Please visit the school in person to make any changes.
