Drawbacks
-We put the sensor in a different spot to not interfere with the screws
-We can't use the LED strip, so we decided to use individual LED lights.
insert photos of before during and after construction. This should include daily photos with descriptions of what happened during each build day.
Prototype Build Day 1: Soldered the sensor and attached to outlet
Prototype Build Day 2: Made the code and tested the sensor
Prototype Build Day 3: Drilled a hole in the side to account for the placement of screws in the outlet.
Prototype Build Day 4: We tried to see if the 3d printed part could actually fit in an actual outlet.
Prototype Build Day 5: connected circuit to light in outlet and installed a new sensor.
Prototype build day 6: did more testing and made the trifold
Testing Day 1: Began to test the sensor at different lengths and found that it is faulty.
Testing Day 2: We put it in the box and ran some time trials to see how long it stayed on.
Testing Day 3: we ran time trials checking how long it stayed on and how long till it turned off.
