Design specifications, constraints, and parameters were determined through. . .
Design specifications were determined based on the aesthetic appeal and simplicity of our sketches. Our goal is to create a design that illuminates the entire outlet upon detecting motion, so we based our designs around the placement of the lights. We wanted to design the placement of the light to be simple and cost-effective while still doing what they're meant to do. Our design's effectiveness will determine the project's difficulty, so this stage of the project is very important. We also wanted it to be convenient and efficient for the consumer's sake, because our highest priority is developing a product that works well and doesn't come with too many complications.
