Our design has captured the interest of everyone who took the survey, meaning it is something that people would buy. We also discovered that most people would be more willing to buy it if it were less than $20, and every similar product on the market is over that mark. By keeping our price point below $20, we can attract more buyers and stand out in a market where competition tends to focus on higher-priced alternatives. This makes our product both accessible and appealing to a wider audience.
Our first few prototypes will be produced using a 3d printer, but our final product will most likely be mass-produced using injection molding. We plan to sell our product on Amazon or other online platforms, which would be a good way to gain exposure and make sales. We could also work with an existing distributor. Injection molding will save money in the long run by allowing us to produce items in bulk. As we grow, we will also explore getting our product into hardware stores like Home Depot and Menards.
