The counselors at Galileo work collaboratively with students, teachers, families, and partners to focus on student needs academically but also emotionally. A student is assigned a counselor based on their last name and follows the student throughout their high school career. Parents and guardians are also welcome to meet with the student's counselor. In order to maximize a meeting with a counselor, schedule an appointment ahead of time.
The Counseling Office is located in Room 258.
The counseling office is open to students and families: Monday - Friday from 8:25 am to 3:55 PM. Students are welcomed to drop in to see their counselor before and after school or during student lunch. Students visiting during class time must have a pass to see their counselor.
If you need assistance from your child’s school counselor, we encourage families to email or call 415-749-3430 to schedule an appointment.
Students are assigned to their counselor by Last Name or Specific Program. Check StudentVue or ParentVue to confirm your counselor.
