The MFIF is now available online at sfusd.edu/mfif. This form helps determine school funding for all TK–12 schools. Even if your family doesn’t qualify for benefits, completing the MFIF ensures our schools get the most resources possible.
✨ Note: Free meals (1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 supper daily) are provided to all students regardless of income—MFIF is not required for meal access.
⏱ How to Submit: The form takes about 5 minutes online. Need help? School staff can walk you through it. For login issues, contact SchoolCafe.com chat or call 866-442-6030 (option 2 for parents)
Student Nutrition Services is looking forward to having your students dine with us again this year! Here’s a quick reminder that the following middle and high schools require Student Meal PINs for Breakfast and Lunch: Sites with Meal PINs. All school meals are still free for all students.
What to Know About Meal PINs:
Your student will receive an email to their SFUSD email address that states their personal Meal PIN. Search “Nutrition”.
There are a few ways your student can find their Meal PIN. You can help!
Log in to the StudentVUE Mobile App
Click on “Student Info”
Click on “Additional Information” on the bottom right
Find your meal PIN
Scan their Student ID: Students can scan the barcode on their Student ID. (This is the fastest method)
Check your SFUSD Email
Search “Nutrition”
If your student does not have any of these methods of meal PIN at the time of service, they are still allowed to take a free meal. However, we would appreciate they ask for help finding theirs as soon as they can.
Why students have to use meal pins:
Student Nutrition Services must keep track of the number of complete meals we serve to students. This counting helps us get paid for the free meals we offer. Meal PINs allow us to easily track # of meals served. Meal PINs do not charge their account.
