Junior Economic Club of San Francisco

Are you a driven high school student in the Bay Area curious about topics such as business and finance?

The JEC is a student-run non-profit that aims to immerse high school students in economics, finance, and entrepreneurship. We are one branch of the larger Junior Economic Club that consists of nine branches across four countries. The JEC is a great way to make connections in the business world at a young age.

We do this by planning and hosting forums and webinars that consist of keynote speakers with successful CEOs, CFOs, and business professionals in general. The club is not affiliated with a specific school and we are looking to expand. This club offers internships, connections, and much more. We are looking for hard-working high school students that are willing to dedicate time to making JEC SF successful.

If you would like to apply to be a member, fill out the application linked below! Visit the JEC website for more insight on what is to come!

Perry Virtual Experience

The Perry Virtual Experience is a free, 2.5-hour, interactive online experience for high school and college-aged women who are interested in pursuing careers in orthopaedic surgery and engineering. Participants will hear from women leaders in these fields and dive into online orthopaedic simulations and biomechanics experiments. Additional information can be found on our website: https://perryinitiative.org/pve/

Women in high school and college who have an interest in science, medicine and/or engineering are now invited to register for a session of the Perry Virtual Experience. We would appreciate it if you could pass along this information to any educators or students you may know. Students should be directed to fill out the online registration for one session that best fits their schedule. Most sessions are available to participants in any location, but some sessions are for a focused geographic area.
