Ms. Burns

Hello Denman Families! My name is Neele Burns, and I am very excited to be back at Denman for my fourth year! I have been a teacher for ten years and taught at schools in Los Angeles and Oxford, England before moving to San Francisco in 2017. I held a variety of roles at those schools, including Resource Specialist, Special Day Class English Teacher, Reading Specialist, Head of Math Intervention, Autism Specialist Teacher, and Math/ English Co-Teacher. I am looking forward to working with 7th graders this year and piloting a co-taught math class with Mr. Troke.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to concerts and musicals, traveling, reading, exercising, hiking, and anything outside where I can soak up the California sun!
