SFHT Balvihar 2026-2027 session is starting on August 30th, 2026:

Age/Participation Restriction: Child must be minimum 4 years of age by the beginning of the school year AND be comfortable sitting without parents for the duration of the class.
For Language Classes child must be minimum 5 years of age by the beginning of the school year, Based on the evaluation by the teachers.

Registration will close once class-level capacity is reached. Due to space limitations, we will not be able to accept late registrations this year, including for returning students.

Student & Family Guidelines

Students are expected to attend classes regularly and on time every Sunday from September through May. If a student will be absent, we ask that families notify the class teacher(s) in advance whenever possible, so we can support continuity in the classroom.
All students should participate actively and respectfully in class, assembly, and group activities.
Students and parents/guardians are expected to attend the weekly assembly, not just Dharma or Language classes. Assembly is an important part of building community spirit and supporting shared spiritual growth.
We encourage both students and parents/guardians to bring an open mind and positive attitude, and to show kindness, respect, and cooperation with peers, teachers, and fellow families.
Parents and family members are invited to get involved - through volunteering, participating in SFHT programs, and supporting their child’s overall educational journey.

More detailed support materials will be shared before the school year begins. We’re excited to be part of each child’s learning and growth!

Classes take place on Sundays from August - May

SFHT Balvihar Weekly Timing:

Dharma + Language (Session A) - 9:30am-11:00am
Dharma + Language (Session B) - 11:15am-12:30pm
Aarti - 12:30pm - 1:00pm
Maha Prasad - 1:00pm

** Please note that with your contribution includes temple’s annual membership ($201) **

First child:

Dharma Class Only: $491
Language Class Only: $421
Dharma + Language Classes: $711

Second child:

Dharma Class Only: $290
Language Class Only: $200
Dharma + Language Classes: $490

Third child and beyond (each):

**Important Registration Note**

Parents must first create a parent account and register their child before making any payment.

Please follow the link for registration instructions at REGISTER HERE to set up your parent and child account. Once your child's registration is complete, you may proceed with the payment.

**Important Registration & Payment Policy**

Please note that payment without completing registration, or completing registration without making payment, does not guarantee your child's seat in Balvihar.

A seat is confirmed only after both the registration and payment have been successfully completed.

**Due to space limitations and the high number of student registrations, Balvihar may be divided into two sessions: Session A and Session B. Once registration is complete, you will be notified which session your child's class has been assigned to.**
