Hindi Intermediate Level 1 focuses on introducing all the matras (vowel symbols) and building vocabulary around each one. In Intermediate Level 2, students learn to form complete sentences using words with matras. They also begin reading and writing full sentences and are introduced to words with half letters (संयुक्त अक्षर).
