The CESA 6 Youth Apprenticeship Consortium provides over 50 career program areas students can pursue and employers can tap for candidates.
Youth Apprenticeship is a 1 or 2-year program that gives juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore a career area of interest. Students spend part of their school day earning credit and wages while gaining valuable industry experience under the guidance of a local business mentor.
Interested students should meet with their school counselor and apply. General information and the online application is located at Youth Apprenticeship. Applications completed by March 1 will be prioritized.
Students who have applied and are waiting for notification of acceptance into the program should schedule a regular load of classes.
