MYP Phase 1 / Novice Level:
The Language Acquisition Novice course focuses on the building a student’s proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students are encouraged at this level to speak as much of the language of study as possible in class and assessments of varying kinds will be given on a regular basis in order to give students accurate feedback on how they are progressing within the course. Student focus on the use of words and phrases to respone to familiar situationsMYP Phase 2 / Intermediate Low Level:
The Language Acquisition Low course focuses on the continued building f a student’s proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students use simple sentences in response to common topics in familar situations.MYP Phase 3 / Intermediate Mid. Level:
The Intermediate-Mid Course is a continuation of the Novicecourse and focuses on the expansion of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students use a string of sentences and connectors in response to a variety of topics both in familar and unfamilar situations.MYP Phase 4 / Intermediate High Level:
The Intermediate High Course focuses on the expansion of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students start organising their sentence in paragrahs possessing past and future time frames in response to complex topics both in familar and unfamilar situations.MYP Phase 5 / Advance Low Level:
The Intermediate High Course focuses on the expansion of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Students organise their sentence in paragrahs possessing past, present and future time frames in response to more complex topics.
