A virtual private network (VPN) is used to create a secure and encrypted connection between your computer and SelectQuote’s network.  The VPN acts as a tunnel to help pass data securely so that the company’s proprietary data as well as our customers’ protected health information is secure.  For this reason, logging into the VPN should become a routine part of your work day; likewise, when your work day ends, you should disconnect from the VPN.   

The following information is provided to teach you how to download and install an OpenVPN profile which should only be necessary the first time you attempt to connect to OpenVPN.  Information about how to connect to and disconnect from the VPN on a daily basis is also included in this module.
