JA Titan National Competition
Submission Deadline: Friday May 3rd, 2024
Event: Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (Virtual)
High school students participating in JA Titan are eligible to compete. Teams compete as business CEOs in the phone industry, experiencing firsthand how an organization evaluates alternatives, makes decisions, analyzes the outcomes of those decisions, and then strategizes what to do next. Teams make financial decisions about production, marketing, research and development (R&D), and corporate social responsibility (CSR) for their company. First, second, and third place honors will be awarded.
JA Stock Market Challenge
Submission Deadline: Friday May 3rd, 2024
Event: Thursday, May 16, 2024 (Virtual)
High school students participating in JA Take Stock in Your Future or competing locally in JA Stock Market Challenge are eligible to compete in the national, virtual JA Stock Market Challenge. Students will compete in a fast-paced simulated trading competition where every day is 60 seconds long, and they must make decisions about how to invest based on current events and trends in the market. First, second, and third place honors will be awarded.
JA National Student Leadership Summit
Submission Deadline: Friday May 3rd, 2024
Event: June 9 - June 13, 2024 (Washington D.C.)
JA National Social Innovation Challenge
High school students participating in the JA Be Entrepreneurial suite, JA Entrepreneurial Mindset, or JA Company Program are eligible to compete and submit their innovative idea to improve their community. The top 10 teams will compete as finalists at the JA National Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. Independent judges will determine team performance against the competition criteria as compared with other JA teams during each stage of the competition process. First, second, and third place honors will be awarded.
JA Company of the Year
High school students participating in JA Company Program apply to this elite competition. The top 15 teams will compete as finalists at the JA National Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. JA student companies appear before a panel of independent judges who measure the company’s performance against competition criteria and each other. But winning takes more than creating an exciting product/service or running a financially sound business. The winning teams must balance company performance with each member’s personal development. The 4Cs: creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, are key to success. First, second, and third place honors as well as additional recognitions will be awarded.
