Willy Wonka Chocolate Council
Health Code Violations and Workers Rights
The Willy Wonka Chocolate Council seeks to resolve the recent failed health code violations, and quickly reopen the factory before criticism strikes. Delegates will take on the roles of characters from both the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and Wonka (2023) movies where they will discuss how to get the business back up and running before conflict arises whilst dealing with opposition towards the Wonka Factory. This committee is for intermediate level delegates who are looking for a fun, interesting, but informative debate.
Truffula Council
Rebuilding the Truffula Forest
The Lorax Committee seeks to address the matter of the last Truffula seed, and what the community should do when taking first steps to rebuild the forest. But, there will be opposition when industrializers and corporations want to keep their monopolies on life without nature. Delegates will take the role of characters in the Lorax movie, and discuss what path to take, the one of ecological regrowth, or continuing on without trees or real air. This committee is a great way for beginner level delegates to see how Model UN works, and have fun while doing it with a somewhat light-hearted topic that also connects to the real world.
Mean Girls:
A Shift in the Social Hierarchy
Welcome to the Mean Girls Committee, where global politics meets high-school drama. Delegates must balance working on strategic social alliances with saving North Shore High from a social hierarchical collapse. May your diplomacy be stronger than Gretchen’s attempts to make ‘fetch” happen!

McCarthy Era
Hollywood on Trial
The McCarthy Era Committee enraptures the idea of how McCarthyism during the 1950s affected the lives of many workers of the entertainment and film industries. Delegates will take on the roles of either being in favor of the House of Un-American Committee's dire search for Communists, or protest against a hysterical idea. The committee is great for intermediate delegates who seek a greater depth of political understanding.
Saving Broadway:
Addressing Financial and Public Decline
The Saving Broadway committee tasks delegates with a challenge: to figure out how to best increase Broadway’s revenue as well as its reputation. An elite select group has been assembled by some of New York's biggest theaters to solve this issue; the fate of theater as we know it is in their hands. This is an intermediate committee and therefore is amazing for anyone looking to take a step up from introductory level debate.
Star Wars JCC
The Fate of the Galaxy
The Star Wars JCC is made up of two committees, The Empire and The Rebellion. The goal of these committees is to address the matters of who controls the galaxy and how they will go about doing so. Topics may include the construction of a second Death Star, thwarted battle plans, and rebel plots. Delegates will take on the roles of characters from the Star Wars original trilogy and discuss ways to further their and their group’s agendas. On both sides of debate, delegates will have to move quickly to address incoming information from the other faction and react accordingly. Due to this, the Star Wars JCC committees are intermediate level and perfect for delegates with a reasonable amount of Model United Nations experience who are looking to step into a larger role in a smaller, more fast-paced committee.

Oppenheimer:
League of Nations Commission on Atomic Affairs (LNECCAA)
The League of Nations Commission on Atomic Affairs (LNECAA) committee will tackle the world’s response to the newly-tested atomic bomb in the final months of World War II. Delegates will step into the roles of League representatives, scientific experts, and military officials to debate whether this unprecedented weapon should be used, regulated, or restricted as nations begin to imagine a postwar world. Delegates must navigate scientific, moral, and geopolitical questions that could define global security for generations. This committee is ideal for advanced delegates looking for a high-stakes, historically grounded debate.
Interstellar (ISRC)
Survival and Resettlement Council
In this committee, delegates will confront various challenges as Earth faces ecological collapse and rapid loss of global food systems. The Interstellar Survival and Resettlement Council brings together scientists, engineers, astronauts, policymakers, and ethics leaders to determine humanity’s future. Delegates will examine the viability of off-world colonies, the continuation of life on Earth, and the urgent scientific challenges posed by the wormhole, gravitational anomalies, and the Lazarus missions. The council’s work sits at the crossroads of survival, exploration, and moral responsibility, asking delegates to decide not only where humanity will live next — but what kind of civilization it will become in the process.
The LEGO Movie
Constitutional Convention
In this committee, delegates will take on the task of rebuilding a fractured LEGO Universe by drafting a brand-new constitutional framework. After the chaos left behind by President Business and the collapse of his rigid system, the Realms are trying to figure out how to cooperate, trade, defend themselves, and protect creativity without slipping back into tyranny or falling apart entirely. Delegates will balance the wildly different interests of realms like Bricksburg, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Ninjago, the Old West, and even the Marvel, DC, and Star Wars worlds, all while navigating pressure from the Octan Bloc and the Master Builders. This convention is their chance to decide what kind of government—if any—the LEGO multiverse should have, and how to keep imagination, order, and unity from crashing into each other.
