Introduction:
The research intends to study and design structures that substitute joints, cables and various elements that are used to keep the structure stable with elastic membranes
Aim: To make a stable structure using sticks and cut up balloons without the use of glue or any other materials to bring it together, join various parts or keep the structure stable.
Material: Wooden sticks, balloons
Procedure:
Making a single membrane by cutting a balloon and giving it a defined shape using sticks
Joining multiple membranes to form a single element
Exploring various methods to make the structure more stable and easier to construct
Experiment 1: Attempting to make a stable membrane
Experiment 2 : Joining two different membranes
Experiment 3 : Trying to create a membrane using different arrangement of sticks
Experiment 4 : Making a structure
Experiment 5: Attempting to create a canopy
Experiment 6: Making an industrial product (chair)
Rubber compressing due to its retentivity
using small sticks as spacers
Experiment 7 : Working on a new material
Experiment 8 : Making an industrial product using the new material ()
