Community Day is an event CCA PALs plan every year that allows students and staff to get to know each other better and form connections. We focus on areas of stress and how we can deal with them, As well as breaking stereotypes and discussing mental health. This type of event has been organized since the founding of CCA and is part of why we love to be here. This is an all-day event that is an excused absence. We highly encourage everyone to participate in this unique experience to help maintain the inclusive culture we value here at CCA.
If you have any questions about the day, feel free to email the PALs advisor, alyssa.cesca@sduhsd.net
Student participants are involved in games and discussions with their peers. There is free jersey mikes for lunch and an excused absence so there is no need to stress about missing class! Teachers are also aware and accommodate for the day.
