A voucher is a partial reimbursement for family members/friends/clients/etc to transport SDRC client.
The current 2025 round-trip rate is based upon a DDS rate schedule:
$7.75 per day for one-way trips between 0.1 and 7 miles;
$11.41 per day for one-way trips between 7.1 and 14 miles;
15.18 per day for one-way trips over 14 miles;
Add $3.55 to each rate for consumers in a wheelchair.
Mileage is calculated via One Way, for example, a 20 mile round trip would be considered 10 miles One Way, therefore the rate would be $11.41 and if client has WC, $14.96
If the client only needs transport one-way, the one-way rate schedule:
$3.88 per day for one-way trips between 0.1 and 7 miles;
$5.7 per day for one-way trips between 7.1 and 14 miles;
$7.58 per day for one-way trips over 14 miles;
Add $3.55 to each rate for consumers in a wheelchair.
Voucher applicants must contact Participant.Directed@sdrc.org;
Vouchers will then get financed through a Financial Management Service (FMS) such as CIS, Premier Healthcare/Aveanna, and Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) which is funded by SDRC.
