The registration process, outlined
The registration process (from beginning to end) includes three steps:
Signing up for an SDCCD account: If you have taken classes with the college, you already have an account. You may need assistance in finding your student number. NOTE: Your past student numbers were six to seven digits long. The current student numbers are ten digits long. Add zeros in front of your number to create your new student number. For example, student nbr 123456 becomes 0000123456.
Setting up a portal: Even if you have a student number, you may not be on the portal. This is a one time process. When you complete this process, you will have a password which you will use along with your ten digit student number .
Apply and enroll: The final step is done each semester. Prior to enrolling, you must apply for the term. After applying, you can enroll in any number of classes for that term. Enrolling requires that you know the class number, which can be found on the search page or by asking an instructor. No access codes required at this time.
