Originally from Ohio, I attended Miami University for my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. I went on to earn my Master’s degree from Xavier University in School Counseling. I have taught in the traditional classroom for all grade levels K-5, been math facilitator for teachers, as well as been a school counselor.
Spending time with my husband and 2 young sons is a top priority for me. We enjoy being outside together hiking, biking, and playing with the dog in the yard. I love watching sports on TV or in person, but I also love to go for runs. Reading and learning about new things, or places I want to travel to, is something I enjoy as well.
I have a great passion for education and the way it enriches the lives of people around the world. It is my strong belief that all people are capable of learning and achieving great things when given the proper support and met where they are. It is my pleasure and joy to be a piece of that puzzle for the students at SC Whitmore School. It is my goal to help each and every student to set their sights on achieving their goals for their high school education, but also into whatever future path he or she chooses to pursue in becoming a valuable and happy citizen of our community.
