South Carolina Life Scholarship and Hope Scholarship Requirements
You can complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid beginning October 1. Families can use their prior-prior year tax information to complete the form instead of the prior year's tax information. That means using 2023 tax information to complete the 2025-2026 form. This allows families to file the FAFSA before they file their previous year's taxes.

College Board - Opportunity Scholarships
The new College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is awarding micro-scholarships. There is NO GPA or family income requirement. Students simply get rewarded for the work they're already doing to apply for college. Create a piece about a coastal/marine species, place, or system that will be threatened, altered, or lost due to climate change.
