Student Leadership Paint Party

Thank you to all our student leaders!

We want to commend and congratulate our Student Leadership Team for providing invaluable support for their fellow students and the wider school community this academic year. The team has played an important role and has upheld our school values as they raised money for charities, raised the profile of specific awareness days, supported key events such as open days and led meetings to help improve student voice at the academy. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team and look forward to working, learning and growing together and, by doing so, adding strength to our school family next year.

On Monday 18 July we said "thank you" by organising a bespoke ‘paint party’ event at the academy. The event began with a motivational presentation, followed by students unleashing their creativity as they recreated a “leadership” themed painting, guided by a professional artist, Nadia Lammani. We had a special performance by our Business teacher, Ms Francis, who shares her creativity and performed her own material through spoken word. Students watched amazed at her talent, as she beautifully created metaphors about them being the best version of themselves.
