Photography In The Spotlight

All Year 10 students had their first Mock Exam where they created final pieces based on the title Juxtaposition. They had 6 weeks to plan out what they would be editing and had to have a variety of photoshoots to work with.

Louka, Year 12 is creating an independent portfolio based upon Optical Illusions and created this digital image combining 3 photographs. He had to take 1 shot of the woodland, 1 shot of the pathway and 1 shot of his model dragging a white sheet and then carefully edit them to create this bizarre composition.

James, Year 10 created work based on how mankind is helping to destroy many landscapes.

David, Year 10 created work f based on the memories of loved ones.

Nelly, Year 10 created a series of pieces based on peoples different personalities.

George, Year 10 created a box filled with his own edited photos and objects found in the environment to highlight the issues of destruction.

Georgina, Year 10 created work based on the relationship between humankind and nature and similar traits they share.

Maddie, Year 10 took some fantastic portrait photographs of Duggie (SCWA Therapy Dog) who turned out to be the most fantastic model. The shots really captured his personality and are being printed for display.
