Introducing the SCUSD Portal

What is it?

The SCUSD Portal is an online/cloud-based, one-stop shop, single sign-in solution for all your applications/tools & resources. When clicking an application on your dashboard, it will automatically launch and sign you in. 

Since the Portal is a single sign-in solution, meaning all the accounts within the Portal use the same password, the Portal saves the passwords to your applications so you don't have to worry about remembering all your passwords.

Resetting your password within the Portal will change your password for all district systems, like your Chromebook, Google, PCs, and your Mac, & logging back into your Mac. 

How to access & log in

You can find the SCUSD ClassLink Portal link on your bookmarks tab, under the 'SCUSD Links' or 'Links' folder titled 'SCUSD Portal'.

Log in to the Portal using your full SCUSD email & your computer password.

When logging in for the first time, you will create a recovery option, which takes about three minutes. After that, logging in will be a breeze. 

Setting up password recovery options

When logging in to the portal for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to set up at least one recovery option to reset your password.

1. Go to the SCUSD ClassLink Portal.

2. Log in using your full @scusd.net email and password.

3. Click Set Up Recovery when the Password Recovery Set Up pop-up appears.

4. Choose at least one recovery method. More than one method can be set up:

• Security Questions - Choose three questions. Answers need to be at least 3 characters long.
  Note: You can create your own question(s) by scrolling to the bottom of the drop-down menu and selecting the Custom option.

• Phone - Enter a phone number that can receive text messages.

• Email - Type in an email you have access to. This email will receive a code.

5. Click Save. 

⚠️ Click No when Google Chrome asks if you want to Save Password?

Resetting your password

Option 1
Requires password recovery options to be set up.

6. Go to the SCUSD ClassLink Portal.

7. Click on Help, I forgot my password.

8. Type in your full @scusd.net email.

9. Click Submit.

10. Choose your recovery option and follow the prompts.

11. Enter your new password in the New password and Confirm password fields.

12. Click the checkmark box. You’ll be redirected to a new page that says Your password has been updated successfully.

Option 2
If you know your password and want to change it.

1. Go to the SCUSD ClassLink Portal.

2. Log in using your full @scusd.net email and password.

3. Click your profile photo on the top right.

4. Click Settings.

5. Click on the Recovery tab.

6. Click Change Password.
   
   

⚠️ Google will automatically log you out of your account on all devices. Log in to your SCUSD account using your new password.
