Guide: Password Update Process

Here is a step-by-step guide for the password reset process for your @SCUSD.net (Google/SCUSD Portal) account:

1. Wait for the SCUSD portal page to appear.

2. Type in your email and password.

3. Click "sign in".

4. A prompt to update your password will come up.

5. Read over the password policy to ensure a good, secure password.

6. Click "submit".

7. Your Google Chromebook will prompt you to re-enter your new password.

8. Click "next".

9. The Chromebook will then ask you to enter your old password.

   • If you remember your old password, type it in and hit "next".

   • If you do not remember your old password, click on "forgot old password" and proceed anyway.

10. Read over the terms and services.

11. Hit "next" when you agree to the terms and services.

Your password has now been updated. The next time you open up your Google Chrome, you will be redirected straight into your applications.
